Adamson Falcons Soar over De La Salle Green Archers, 70 - 68 in UAAP 73 Men's Hoop

The Adamson University Soaring Falcons held on to beat the gritty De La Salle University Green Archers 70 - 68 in UAAP Season 73 Men's Senior's Basketball game today to finish the first round of eliminations in second place behind the FEU Tamaraws.
Lester Alvarez sparked the Falcons in the fourth quarter ably helped by Jan Colina and Eric Camson to turn a 7 point deficit from the third quarter to a victory.
An effective 2-3 zone by the Falcons held the Archers scoreless in the first 4 minutes of the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 1, 59 - 58.
DLSU Luigi De La Paz and Joshua Webb tried to staved off the Falcons but the momentum is clearly on the Falcon side.
The Falcons finally took the lead 67 - 66 on Camson's putback with just 2 minutes to go. DLSU got the lead back and tasted it last on Tolentino's basket, 68 - 67.
Alex Nuyles made an acrobatic shot on a the break break to give the lead for good to Adamson.
The Falcons played good defense and wisedly used their fouls to thwart DLSU. Eric Camson made one of two free throws to round up the scoring. 70 - 68
The win solidified the campaign of the Falcons to finally snag a final four slot this UAAP Season 73.
