TNT Tropang Texters Wins the 2011 PBA Philippine Cup - All-Filipino Title

The Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters wins the 2011 PBA Phillipine Cup All Filipino crown, by beating the San Miguel Beermen in Game 6, 95 - 82.

When I came by my new sports-watching hangout (tricycle terminal near our home)the third quarter of Game 6 of the Philippine Cup finals series just ended, TNT up by 7 over SMB, 69 - 62.

But just like in game 5, the texters seemed to have another gear for the fourth quarter, padding the lead to 17 and never letting the Beermen get closer to end the series at 4-2 and win the all-Filipino crown.

Jimmy Alapag and Jason Castro was named co-mvp of the finals. Without a doubt, TNT's speed advantage dictated the championship series and it is anchored on these two speedy guards.
