Jeffrey "The Jet" Cariaso will be retiring after the 35th season of the PBA.

Jeffrey Cariaso will be hanging his jersey after this season. And the Alaska franchise will kinda do it literally, by retiring his jersey number 22, second only to Jojo Lastimosa's number 6.

Wow, since winning rookie of the year honors in 1996, it is only now that Cariaso, also known as the JET, will be ending his career. His contemporary, Kenneth Duremdes, I think has been retired for two years.

I was never a fan of Cariaso or the whole Alaska team (except for Johnny A) but I respect his basketball talents and consider him sureball when left open or in the free throw line. Including the free throws he made after a dangerous and flagrant foul from Rudy Distrito.

Another one, from what I consider a better PBA era than the current one, ends his career.
